Marina Piccola was one of the many favourite beaches I visited during my stay in Capri.
We spent our days in this stunning town discovering new beaches and eating the most delicious Italian food and fresh fish. Two of my favourite things!
On arrival at Da Gioia’s beach club, I asked the staff if they minded me taking a few images. Not only did I receive an enthusiastic yes, but my friends and I were given a private tour of the venue, beach, and were looked after for lunch.
They also let us know about the live DJ who would play on the beach that night, so we ended the day dancing on the sand overlooking Capri’s port.
It was the next day that the name Kamalia was born. After arriving back from a boat tour around Capri, exploring gems like the Blue Grotto and Faraglioni, we arrived back at the Port.
There it was - a beautiful white yacht sailed past us as we walked home that read “Kamalia” - we instantly knew it was the one.
