Our first night in Ios was spent at Alma sunset bar where the cocktails and views of the island were unmatched. It was here that we were introduced to a group of Canadian’s who had been returning to Ios for years, and we were blessed to have them take us under their wing and show us the best of this incredible Island.
The next day, we took a boat tour called "best of beaches". We visited beautiful beaches such as Tripiti, snorkelled through glowing water caves and most importantly, drank champagne!
Pathos was another must-see for sunset drinks, dancing, and the unique experience of listening to opera music as the sun goes down. In terms of accommodation, Hermes and Francesco’s hostel are crowd favourites with friendly staff and great facilities that attract a community of travellers that feel like family by the end of your stay.
