Karina, photographer and founder of Kamalia Studio, left Melbourne to spend four months immersed in a European summer across Greece, London, Croatia, Italy, the South of France, Spain, and Portugal.

Her journey, inspired by a long-held dream and two meaningful cameras gifted by her parents, marked her first solo adventure. Unsure about traveling alone, she reached out to two strangers after a TikTok led her to them. A spontaneous dinner turned into a fast friendship, and soon, the three had planned a trip to Byron Bay and later locked in three months together in Europe.

The name Kamalia was born when the trio spotted a superyacht in Capri bearing the name. It resonated deeply, partly blending their names and reminding them of a beloved town in Crete.

Today, Kamalia Studio continues to grow, with Karina exploring Australia and beyond. Each photo collection is released in limited, custom-made drops grouped by destination, preserving the unique story behind every image.
